Darkness

Beautiful, rich images from the curious mind of Roy McKeown. Layers of photographs, including old stone surfaces, distressed buildings and people moulded together to create deep, unique images. These images were first released as an exhibition “Darkness” in 2004 which won the author a Fellowship from the Royal Photographic Society in Bath.

Each is stretched onto gallery wrap canvas ready for hanging or framing, plus varnished with artist varnish. Each work is hand made, and the original print is enhanced with paint and varnish to give it exact look and feel of an original painting. Largest stretched size for delivery is 24″x32″ (unless collected), Larger sizes being posted are prepared in exactly the same way, but carefully rolled in a tube for delivery, ready for stretching or mounting and framing.
Please note the price is for unframed. Frames are available for works collected from the gallery.
